Typically used in formulations where color change is observed, to help preserve the natural blue/purple colors over time.

GHK(Pal)-Cu, also known as Palmitoyl Copper Tripeptide-1, is a new form of the well-known Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu) that utilizes an additional Palmitoyl group to enhance certain formulations by increasing the peptide’s lipophilicity. It effectively promotes collagen production, enhances vascular growth and antioxidant capacity, and stimulates glycosaminoglycan (GAG) synthesis, helping the skin restore its self-repair ability. Additionally, it accelerates wound healing by promoting the growth and differentiation of epithelial cells.
Palmitoyl (Pal) lipid can increase lipophilic pathways both directly and indirectly. Palmitic acid is a key building block for lipogenesis, increasing the expression of genes involved in fatty acid uptake, lipid synthesis, and lipid droplet formation. It also acts as a signaling molecule, and the process of protein palmitoylation (adding a palmitoyl chain to a protein) increases a protein’s lipophilicity and its tendency to associate with cell membranes.
